We still have an overinflated ego...but the only solution to it is to come without a system breaking amount of people...that is the one and only NC strategy...our BOB mains have been seeing this constantly in the last few weeks...
Want to take the wind out of our sails come with a reasonable size gang and kick the crap outta us...come with 600+ people and we can always cling to the uber blob excuse...
When we are done with Hydra maybe we will pick on another NC power, and take them on one vs one...does anyone think that Pure for example on its own would be able to stop us? Or Razor on its own will be able to do so? Guess we will see!

No, clearly not as we would be facing 600+ enemies. We are an alliance of 500 or so...with most people running multiple accounts...
BOB's attack has given us an opportunity to advance into NC space. We have helped lessen the blob BOB faces by taking Hydra out of the fight...so if we start picking on someone else the blob BOB faces gets smaller again...this we both win...eventually the north may turn into a few 1 vs 1's...which is good for everyone if you ask me.

Omeega my dear friend, you don't really believe being able to form the bigger blob is really a great accomplishment do you? I think the "coalitions" ultimate failure has shown that with enough hardware even a giant blob isn't enough to "win".
While Tri may spew alot of stuff on the forums, in game we have generally stood without a massive blob backing us up. Even now, we fight against an alliance 3X our size, with many of its friends helping in many of the engagements we have had.
You may think that having "great friends", ie, being able to put together a fleet of 600 is something to feel good about...I think its a fairly lame...

Why are you flawed? Because that's exactly what happened to TRI 3-4 months ago.

We had a poster crowing how the NC are such great allies and would never let anyone of them die alone...which is exactly what they are doing to Hydra.
Don't come here and be all "Smashkill" about how strong your coalition is when you are letting the weakest member in it die.

Well actually its true because that is what the NC does and from my experience has always done.
It is the way you choose to play the game, and if that is fun for your members then all power to you. Personally Im not a big fan of being part of a 600+ man fleet, hence me being in a corp of less than 15 people.
To me the blob is something negative, to others that is not the case. You can have some great fun large fleet fights without system killing lag if you leave the blob at home. We have had a few fun fights with PURE fleets over the last few days, and they weren't fun because of the results, they were fun because it was 70 or so on each side actually being able to do something other than press and button and wait 15 minutes for something to happen.
Are you having fun sitting in VFK right now? Waiting hours and hours to do something, and when you do, many people don't even load I guess its all about wanting or expecting different things from this game.

Personally i don't think Hydar deserves to get it back, or at least hydra leadership as it stands dose not deserve it back.

Secret deal is that Hydra "agreed" to give some systems to PURE in return for their aid...

My point isnt a slam on the lag, lag happens and swings in random directions, although one would assume, the more pilots you have, the more of a chance that matters will in the end swing your way, but that is not a certainty. My point is that I wouldn't be thrilled to get on someones killmail knowing the only reason he is dieing is because he is lagged out. Winning is something which I think people will be satisfied with, even with lag...but actual individual kills wouldn't be what I would crow about...
